Application portal

The only official application system is run by Tempus Public Foundation, atapply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu, built on the DreamApply platform. This site does not host that portal, does not process applications, and does not offer a shortcut into it — registration is free and open directly to applicants.

What the portal is for

• Registering and filling out the application form in English.
• Browsing host institutions and study programmes, and selecting up to two.
• Uploading the required documents, each up to 4 MB.
• Accepting the Statement for Application and the Privacy Notice.
• Submitting the application, and — for successful applicants — accepting the scholarship afterwards.

Mistakes that cause an automatic rejection

Tempus Public Foundation runs a technical check on every submitted application, and rejects applications automatically for reasons that include:

• Not clicking "submit" — an application only saved, never submitted, does not count, even if every field is filled in.
• Submitting after the deadline.
• Registering more than one account, or applying through more than one sending partner.
• Applying with a citizenship different from the sending partner's own country.
• Not accepting the Statement for Application in the system.
• Using an e-mail address you do not check regularly — Tempus Public Foundation is not responsible for a missed notification, and warns specifically against some free webmail providers that tend to misroute its mail to spam.
