About Hungary Scholarships

Hungary Scholarships is an independent, unofficial website. It is not operated by Tempus Public Foundation, the Hungarian government, or any Hungarian university, and it has no affiliation with any of them. Official information about the Stipendium Hungaricum programme is published at stipendiumhungaricum.hu.

The site collects the deadline, requirements, sending partners and other facts about the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship in one place, with a source and a checked date next to every figure, so an applicant does not have to piece the same information together from a dozen forum posts and outdated blog articles.

Who runs it

The site is operated by Ökrös László EV., Hungary. It is an independent project, not paid or commissioned by Tempus Public Foundation, any university or any government body. Questions and corrections go through the contact form.

What it does not do

This site does not process applications, does not charge any fee, and does not offer paid "application assistance" or agency services of any kind — applying through the official channels costs nothing. It publishes no ready-to-copy motivation letter, because a copied letter damages an application. It gives no legal advice about visas or residence permits; for that, the relevant Hungarian authority is always the source that matters.

Where the facts come from

Every date and amount on this site links to its official source — the Tempus Public Foundation call for applications, a sending partner's own page, or a Hungarian authority's page — and carries the date it was last checked. When an official figure has not been published yet, the site says so instead of guessing.
