Who is responsible

The controller and operator of Hungary Scholarships is Ökrös László EV., Hungary. The GDPR applies to this service in full (Article 3(1)), regardless of where a visitor is located. The only way to reach us is the contact form.

What this site publishes

Hungary Scholarships publishes facts about a scholarship programme: deadlines, amounts, eligibility rules, sending partners and universities. This content is not about identifiable individuals. No applicant's personal data is published anywhere on the site.

What the contact form collects

Name, e-mail address, topic and message, and the technical data needed to deliver and rate-limit the request (IP address and country, held briefly by Cloudflare for rate limiting). There is no registration, no account and no newsletter. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Legal basis

Contact form data are processed under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f): to answer your message, and our legitimate interest in running a functioning contact channel and preventing abuse of the form (rate limiting, spam filtering).

Retention

• Contact form messages: kept for up to 12 months after the request is closed.
• Rate-limit counters: kept for a few minutes only, then deleted automatically.

Your rights

You may request access (Article 15), rectification (16), erasure (17), restriction of processing (18) and object to processing (21). Use the contact form. We act on requests within 30 days.

Recipients and processors

• Cloudflare, Inc. – hosting and delivery (Workers and CDN), Turnstile spam protection on the contact form, e-mail routing and Web Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics runs automatically at the network edge: it counts page views without cookies and without a script on the page, and it does not build profiles of visitors.
• Google LLC – the mailbox that receives contact form messages (Gmail).

Both providers can process data outside the European Economic Area. The transfers rest on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which the providers are certified.
